Scarbook chalange #11: 4 C's of using social media for online learning

I have followed @julielindsey @kwezilukas @Tanzania youth economic forum @womenmoves on tweeter, facebook and Instagram @world economic forum @kamatafursatz @ecovalleytz @charles stuart uni and @saveelderstanzania, hashtags that I follow are #getreadyDOL #education #enterpreneur

what I have found interesting to read was about communication disability, that failure to master some of communication components like fluency and intelligibility makes us disabled. I related this to uncertainty culture where the freedom of expression is highly hindered despite of ones level of civilization or education and fluency.
The other interesting thing was about measures of education success and digital technologies to revolutionize the sector whereby as the measures correlates higher level achievement to earnings and integrating social aspects of education equity and social mobility and going further to consider the joy of learning and cognitive pedagogy and leverage on technology to ensure collaboration by integrating innovation, openness, autonomy and connection the education in developing countries has remained traditional, there are sill teachers shortage and has not leverage even to existing technologies like YouTube where in areas with teachers' shortage students can be supervised to learn through visual with aid of computer, projector and internet. it is teacher-centered, not fun and with very low to no returns.

the best resource suggestions  by my communities have been global collaboration summit changes in measure of education success and communication disability findings

I am commenting on posts to add on ideas for better design of the learning systems

I have share my favorite scrapbook challenge blog on tweeter Learning in the 21st century

Commentating on Global collaboration where learning should be cognitive and leveraging on technology, to me the important thing to consider is the kind of technology that the beneficiaries have access to. In Africa majority use mobile phone but does not have internet access and therefore the design here should be both visual and SMS bases. In groups there will be at least one device that can support visual learning and there after, people can follow up through SMS or recorded audio. See the comment I made above on Julie's post.
