Scrapbook Challenge #19: Lights, camera, ction

Creating this video was a nice experience, I tried it offline with my webcam and online with Wevideo but the online experience was not good because of the internet bandwidth so I made several practices offline until I was confident enough to create a good video and uploaded it to Wevideo and make some edits. Because I was in a free mode I had to upload the audio and image that I used for editing. The editing was not so much challenging because I was referring to tutorial video on the course and I was able to upload and share my video on youtube, all the uploading procedures are visible on the tools and it is just cool. several practices was a key, as you record more videos you become confident.

Scrapbook challenge #16: Picture perfect

Photo by  Lost Co  on  Unsplash I searched on four public websites and this photo form Unsplush attracted me. I searched for entrepreneur and different photos came including this one. I decided to edit it using a text function to make it more meaningful in a digital context where the playing field is levelled and little to zero cost except for our efforts are needed to make an entrepreneur successful. before  After  I was happy because the added texts communicate the message and the text on the cup gives the strategy or make an emphasis.

Scrapbook challenge #16: Let's present to the World

Becoming an online digital learner  presentation  shows how simply one can become an online learner and join other colleagues worldwide. I have created it using google slides and the experience was good. A lot of useful tools are available and you can just add an image or link on a click, customization is simple and can also share a presentation with others. having many tools requires some practice to master all of them but being user-friendly makes the process simple.

Scrapbook Challenge #14: Getting Organised

I came across EverNote when learning about Workflow and organisation and it attracted me. I saw it as an improved version of OneNote that I was using previously and decided to try it. I have used it for note-taking, writing ideas, priorities, annotating documents and setting notifications. The tool works better both on a computer and mobile phone and it synchronises across the devices allowing you to proceed with your activities on any device that you have access to at the moment. The tool works better on either device depending on what you are doing. It is best on a computer for note-taking, the picture above shows my notes on digital curation which I took when leading about the topic. It is also better for documents annotation because you can simply read and write on the same screen only to minimize and maximize one of the tools you want to use either EverNote or the content reader. The above picture shows the annotations from a report I was going through.  It is also

Scrapbook challenge #15: Digital Curation and ME

I am now curating online materials and  scoop.it  has been my favourite. I have created my topic and I can follow up other topics of interest, curate more materials and learn. The tool is more professional and there are a lot of interesting topics from different areas of professionalism for learning and collaboration. The content is described and you can simply understand whether it is useful for you or not. It has been the best alternative to Google + following the disappearance of the later. I like the specification and being purposely for learning that means when you go for scoop.it you go learning. The challenge that I faced is getting an extension for the tool, this could have made scooping easy direct from the web but I could not find it, though I saw it in one of the Youtube tutorial videos. The other thing I found difficult to use is sharing on social media, a tweeter post was created but I could not find it on my profile and there was a blank space for linked in that does
