Scrapbook challange #13: Reflective writing

I have created my identity on different tools and platforms of my choice depending on interests and I have a network of professionals and materials that help me learn interactively. When online you need to behave as your identity is very important for your career and learning. You also have to create a communication strategy that will take you from being a consumer to being a commentator and an agent of change. When online there are people, hashtags and groups of your interest to follow, that enables you to stay organized but you need also to create by synthesize other people's ideas and come up with your own contribution not just a like. I am well organized with few people to learn from and few hashtags of interest areas, but I am not confident enough to share all my feelings, there is a sense of insecurity when comes to some staffs where I am not felling like I have much contributions to make, So I contribute on communities and people that I am confident and push a little bit

Scarbook chalange #11: 4 C's of using social media for online learning

Image
I have followed @julielindsey @kwezilukas @Tanzania youth economic forum @womenmoves on tweeter, facebook and Instagram @world economic forum @kamatafursatz @ecovalleytz @charles stuart uni and @saveelderstanzania, hashtags that I follow are #getreadyDOL #education #enterpreneur what I have found interesting to read was about communication disability, that failure to master some of communication components like fluency and intelligibility makes us disabled. I related this to uncertainty culture where the freedom of expression is highly hindered despite of ones level of civilization or education and fluency. The other interesting thing was about measures of education success and digital technologies to revolutionize the sector whereby as the measures correlates higher level achievement to earnings and integrating social aspects of education equity and social mobility and going further to consider the joy of learning and cognitive pedagogy and leverage on technology to ensure collabor

Scrap book challange #9: Brand of me

Image
My online identity is the general or global representation of me and as a professional it is my brand. "what is he sharing online?" might be a question people who want to work with me may consider before deciding on a partnership. Therefore the identity is important as it tells people who I am and help attract people of my interest like clients or employers. Learning and career are more of interaction to the civilized world, the worst you identify yourself as a bad digital citizen you block your connection to others as no one would prefer to network with a bad behaving person. Sharing of immoral posts, abusive comments and signs of threat to others will make people block a network with you or not preferring you for jobs and therefore putting your  leaning or career in danger. Three word that are "brand of me" are Friend, project manager and consultant The two sentences that describe me are A digital citizen A leader of digital economy I am currently an

Scrapbook challange #8: How large is my digital footprint

Image
My digital footprint appear I the most places that I visit or that people have shares my information and places that I appear officially like work and academic institutions. It is not bigger because digital revolution is in initial stages and I have been to academic institutions when data were stored manually. My prints also does not appear on the search for the tools I rarely use like Linkedin, Canva, Pintrest and blogger.com. this is because is started using them recently and I do not have much content there and because I am not much familiar with them on settings and I have probably not made them more public. I appreciate the fact that my footprint is not that bigger and therefore manageable, with the digital skills that I am learning I can be able to make it organized and safe.
